Bioenutra's mission is to improve human lifestyle through the development, manufacture and supply of products obtained from natural matrices; to underline the value of ancient cultivars in the Salento area, the Apulia Ionian coast and the hills of the low Tarantina Murgia in the South of Italy, characterized by secular olive trees and ample expanses of autochtonous vineyards.
The polyphenols contained in the products squeezed from olives (olea europaea) and grapes (vitis vinifera), originating from autochtonous cultivars, can be obtained through new biotechnological processes, respecting and preserving the properties of natural extracts, in order to produce the best, most valuable antioxidants: Hydroxytyrosol and Oleuropein, from olive squeeze, and Resveratrol, from pomace grape.
